1,592 open mobility jobs. One free board. No signup, ever.
On June 9 I launched a small experiment: a free job board that pulls open roles straight from the career systems of the companies building electrified and autonomous mobility. No signup, no email gate, no sponsored listings. Two days later it crossed a number I did not expect to see this fast: 1,592 open roles across 17 companies, refreshed every night.
This guide is the tour. What is on the board, who is hiring hardest, and how to get the most out of it, whether you are an engineer eyeing your next move or a hiring manager scoping the competition.
Why this board exists
Job boards are noisy. Aggregators bury mobility roles under everything else, listings go stale, and half the links route you through three redirects before you reach an application. Meanwhile the companies doing the most interesting work in EV, autonomy, eVTOL, and electric marine post every opening on their own career systems, where almost nobody browses.
So the board goes to the source. Every night it pulls directly from company applicant tracking systems: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, and the rest. Every listing links straight to the company's own application page. If a role is on the board, it was live on the company's career site within the last day.
What is inside right now
Autonomous vehicles lead with 660 open roles, anchored by Zoox at 210, Applied Intuition at 140, Motional at 112, Aurora at 104, Wayve at 94, and Waymo at 85. Electric vehicles hold 297 across Scout Motors (128), Slate (105), and Harbinger Motors (64), three companies actively building factories and the teams to run them.
The surprise is electric and autonomous marine: 294 roles, nearly matching all of passenger EV. Saronic Technologies alone lists 274 openings as it scales autonomous vessel production in Austin, and Arc Boats adds 20 more in Los Angeles. If you read my guide on the first unmanned sea rescue, this is that thesis showing up in hiring data.
Rounding it out: 140 roles in AI vehicle technology, 98 in battery and charging infrastructure at Redwood Materials and ChargePoint, 79 in autonomous delivery at Nuro, and 24 in eVTOL at Wisk. The eVTOL and delivery numbers will grow as more companies come online; the crawler adds new career systems every night.
How to actually use it
The board lives at larrysherwoodjr.com/jobs/ and it is built for speed. Filter by vertical if you know where you want to be: one tap shows you only marine, only eVTOL, only battery and charging. Filter by function if you know what you do: engineering (822 roles right now), manufacturing (184), operations (165), supply chain, GTM, corporate. Type a company, a title keyword, or a city into search. Toggle remote-only if relocation is off the table, and be honest with yourself about this one: only 63 of 1,592 roles are remote, which tells you most of this industry builds physical things in physical places.
Every card links directly to the company's application page. No account, no resume upload to a third party, no middleman. I do not see your data because there is no data to see.
What the numbers say about the market
Three signals stand out from the first week of data. First, autonomy is the deepest talent market in mobility right now, and it is not close: AV companies on the board are hiring four to one against eVTOL. Second, maritime autonomy has quietly become a major employer; one defense-backed company in Austin is out-hiring almost every passenger EV maker on the board. Third, manufacturing and operations roles make up over a fifth of all openings, which means the industry is building and shipping, not just researching.
I will publish these trend snapshots regularly as the board accumulates history. The numbers above are from the June 11 refresh and will shift nightly, which is exactly the point: bookmark the board, not this guide.
Free means free
Companies do not pay to be listed. Nobody can buy placement. There is no premium tier. I built this because I have spent 15 years recruiting in this industry and I know how hard it is to see the whole market in one place. If the board helps you land somewhere great, that is the return.
See who is hiring right now. My free Mobility Jobs board pulls every open role at EV, AV, eVTOL, electric marine, and autonomous delivery companies nightly, straight from their career systems. No signup. Browse the board.
Building something ambitious?
I build recruiting functions from scratch as a sole recruiter. 48 hires for the AFEELA U.S. launch, 98% offer acceptance, $1.5M+ in annual agency savings. Currently open to senior TA leadership roles, remote.
